What's New at Your Credit Union
IMPORTANT NOTICE - Courtesy Pay Overdraft Protection Change Effective 7/1/2010. The federal government issued changes to Regulation E affecting overdraft protection for ATM and one-time debit card purchases. Currently - for most New Horizons CU members - if an account does not have sufficient funds to cover an ATM or one-time debit card transaction, the credit union covers the insufficient amount (up to $500.00) for a $25.00 fee per transaction. Beginning July 1, 2010 we will not be able to continue this practice unless we receive your written authorization on an Opt-In Form instructing us to do so. If you choose not to Opt-In, such transactions for which sufficient funds do not exist in your account will be declined at the Point-Of-Sale. This does not affect checks drawn on your account or recurring payments using your debit card. You may use the online form or request a form at any branch.
Our Prichard Branch Has Moved
The Prichard Branch of New Horizons Credit Union, formerly located at 309 S. Wilson Ave., has moved. You can now find the Branch inside the FOOD FOR LESS Supermarket at 3445 Saint Stephens Road in Eight Mile. This new location is a full service Branch providing all the same services as our other 7 locations.
